well since it was my birthday yesterday and wife keeps asking me what i want and i keep saying nout all the cash is for our spanish holiday in 8 weeks.

today i returned home from work to find she has been looking on ebay for me something for the car :lol:

she has asked me if i want these but i'm not sure . she said whil i have my own private plate now why dont i get a set of these to make it stand out

1st link. new number plates (aluminium french pressed)

well got home from work today and the wife has ordered these for me :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

starting the lengthy process today of taking the front bake pads off and filing down the calipers were they slide

(they keep sticking since changing them a few weeks ago)

also gonna colour code the calipers while im at it :mrgreen: :mrgreen: photos to follow tonight.

front brakes re-done. pads are now free to slide , they was stuck solid when i removed them :shock:

took 5 hours do both sides now brakes dont stick :mrgreen:

before anything was removed

caliper removed

the famous T55 bolt at the back. no match with a 1/2 inch drive ratchet.

brake pads were stuck solid here :oops:

out they come and a good wire brush 1st followed by a good file were pads slide. now they slide free

going back on the car

pads and slider greased up with copper grease

caliper bolted back on and 1st coat of caliper paint going on

finished job

wheels polished with autoglym paint renovator then super resin polish , now the scuffs have gone from me using a soap pad on them :oops:
