Ballast as in extra weight?

Itsin the bin,i dont have aircon. Fans run from temp switch on radiator think this was to do with tempgauge and ecu eitherway its no longer connected.

Yes it looks like a mini pipebomb lol.

Just realised a potentially simple solution to this: Look at the wires on the plug and find the numbers written on them. Try to look them up in the Haynes wiring diagrams

Yeah, i thought that too but could not find any numbers.

She is off the road till next track day in june ,tbh got lots to tweek all on a pikey budget .

200sx fuelpump and turbo(from a mate) +++ boost and another fan ,bigger intercooler from an evo ,i also need to drop the seats down as im fed up of wacking my head every time i go around a right hander.
Oh and a rear beam from a GTI6 .

Im sure that thing is to do with the tempgauge, i joined the wires together thinking i would get a reaction from the gauge but it didnt move?

I paid 450 so cant moan, cage must of cost close to that.

Look them up in the Haynes. The D9 book has numbers in the 200 range in the lights wiring diagrams, but not those ones so I suspect you'll need to look in a D8 book...
