Re: Another bargain!
Would prefer a 405 over a similarly specced Vectra tbh.

Re: Another bargain!
Id take a 405, the vectra doesnt even come into the list of cars id take, even the toyota carina is above the vectra, and the carina is a long way down.
Re: Another bargain!
a carina?
are you real,
the old vectras were shite but there 100 times better than a carina,
the only thing we had carinas for was banger racing along with nissan blue birds they like running hot

have you actualy owned a vectraFarmerPug wrote:Thats how dull i thought the vectra was.

the older ones where vertualy just a cavalier and in all fairness cavs were good,
the only down fall they made was using them Ecotec engines idont rate them,
the old cav engines were bullet proof they couid even survive cam belt failiure
shame they didnt keep with them,
the new vectra isnt reliable but it looks good

Re: Another bargain!
I liked 405s, I always thought they were quite nice to drive, comfy etc, build quality was a bit dubious but it was up against the cavalier, the sierra, the montego and a variety of soulless Japanese boxes, I'd take the 405 any day! My bro had one when he was in uni in Glasgow, he abused the crap out of it but it just kept on giving

My dad had a 1.6 petrol one. It wasn't quick (maxed out at 90mph-ish) but it was so comfortable - lovely.
