decided to colour code the new wiper blade arms that i got from omega. had primer, paint & lacquer left over from my spoiler a few months back.

1st stage - a good rub down and primer (red primer only applied yet NO paint)

QUESTION - does the primer need rubbing down with wet and dry ? it is very very smooth as it is so paint will have a good finish,
but i'm wondering if it needs to be rubbed down anyway to give the paint a better key. i'm not well clued on painting things altho i can do a decent job :supafrisk:

(PIC'S WILL FOLLOW WHEN PHOTOBUCKET DECIDE TO FINISH THEIR MAINTENENCE ITS ONLY BEEN DOWN NOW 3 DAYS  )

a slight sanding on the primer might help the paint key in better, 8)

after you spray them mate leave them a day and give the a nice coat of Laquer 8)

well got 4 thin coats of paint on each arm today outside on the washing line.

left them hanging for 1 hour then moved indoors. i've made a washing line in the corner of my dining room over the radiator.

i will leave them there for a few days before putting 2 coats of lacquer on them

dont think the miss's will be impressed when she gets home from work . a washing line in her dining room with my wiper arms hanging

damn photobucket is still down. cant upload any pics still

To be honest, I thought it might look a bit "80's", but doesn't look that bad in parked position

I bought a puller off ebay at the weekend, so hoping it comes quickly, as we have good weather up till friday
So fingers crossed can get away with no wipers on the car for a day or so :cheesy:
