very easy mate.

2 small torx bolts hold the airbag from the back. once airbag is off its a T50 torx bolt and thats it.

disconnect battery while playing around the airbags ..

i've just got a seat ECU that will controll the electrics and heated bits.
got that for £60

i'm gonna connect it direct to battery . after all headlights and fogs are cos they work with ingnition off

so cant see there being a problem connecting seats that way as well ..

thats the ecu ive bought. only i paid £60 . all thats needed is 2 decent gauge cables from battery with inline fuses on .
simply plug and play all functions of the seats ... even the memory function

Has the seller actually stated that the memory function will work? I was always given the impression that you couldn't get the memory function to work & that these ECU conversions just allow you to wire a live & earth to the seats to make them work.

According to the cognoscenti over on the coupé club it won't work, I'm not really sure why as it's the same bit of kit on 406s from 1996 to 2004 but there you go. You don't need it anyway.

You'll need to power the seats to fit them for a start. What I'm saying is you can wire it up without the ecu.
