It'll be fine - just need to put a big hole in the FAP, and a new map on the ECU, and then you won't see that light again.

bar the fap issue is the 2.2 Hdi a reliable engine, how does it differ from the 2.0 is it just bored out a bit more. Or completley different.

It's a 16 valve engine, is the key difference - aren't the HDi 90 and HDi 110 only 8 valve?

Yeah, so the 2.2 HDi is a 16v engine, cursed with the irritating FAP. That, plus the larger bore on the four cylinders, is the key difference between it and the HDi 110.

Ain't no replacement for displacement.

- but variable geometry turbo, variable intake 'swirl' and higher boost pressure, don't hurt none, neither.

Seller a good car here

1999 vahaxhall coarsa
Got the girlfirnd accidentally pregnant have to sell it.
Accidentally scrapped it last week into cube, should pull out nicely.
Engine runs great, leaking a bit of oil here and there but nothing major, may need windscreen.
Easy car to fix, goes very fast, and very easy to park, currently fits under the sink in my kitchen.
£3000 no time wasters.
