well finally got the spare wheel back in after 3 months out

water leak is definatly been fixed .

temp display fully wired and working (but reading -4 wen its 4 )
battery indicator is installed (it flashes crazy red when heater plug light is on. they really do drain a lot of power it seems)

things to do to finish off.

fit leather steering wheel (once ove got my new stalk for front fogs. may as well do wheel when doing stalk)
and fit front fogs. all wires fuses and relays seem to be there ive checked so hopefully with stalk and lights they will come to life..

fit fogs 2moro now i have the brackets .
oh and go scrap yard for bottom section of the wheel arch liner . mine just snapped off on motorway

excuse to go rob all the temperature probes tho as well

is that like a rubber gromit type thing ?? i know which part it is ..

its rubber grommet on my car ..

There is a hole in the panel, and it's a cover for that hole - I assumed it was plastic, but it could be rubber mate

ye mate its same shape as the grommit under glovebox only bigger.

is there only that 1 hole on a liner ? if yes ... it is rubber

well since getting front fog lights installed i thought i would treat myself to a full set of matching bulbs...

all this for £15 delivered .

thought i would try these xenon 6500k look bulbs

front fogs done
strut brace finally done with a lump hammer. doesnt catch bonnet at all now

now these are much better than the standard yellow halogen bulbs

proper whiter than white

they look very very good to the eye. the pic has made them look a bit sh*t

there not bright as in really bright dazzling other drivers

they are standard 55watt bulbs but with a double layer of blue coating on them

to give that pure white look ..

im trying find a piccy now of standard halogen to put at the side of my pic
