My suzuki with the 1.3 and the knackered altenator, could run with all the lights at one go, 12 spots when they hadnt been smashed, i even tested it more, with the handheld spot also on, and a torch charger on, the heater, and courtesy light all at once, and it made no difference to the brightness of the other lights, there was just a bit of a squeak from the altenator, and the idle speed went up a tad. So if it can do all that, anything can run extra stuff. Especially since it bypasses the BSI and ECU.
nowt wrong with the battery indicator but idont see the point in having under the bonnet
lifting bonnet up all the time to check it
