exactly so i dont have any worries about draining power.
My suzuki with the 1.3 and the knackered altenator, could run with all the lights at one go, 12 spots when they hadnt been smashed, i even tested it more, with the handheld spot also on, and a torch charger on, the heater, and courtesy light all at once, and it made no difference to the brightness of the other lights, there was just a bit of a squeak from the altenator, and the idle speed went up a tad. So if it can do all that, anything can run extra stuff. Especially since it bypasses the BSI and ECU.

oh right, er i just went on about draining power issue.
Under the bonnet, its easier to add stuff there, if its added to the dash then it looks quite non standard, something im fussy about.
But i think its a good place to put it, after all you should open the bonnet once a week to check the oil.

I definatley need door card sealing skins on the rear right and front left door, a small dribble in the back, and the passenger one which i sort of fabricated myself is no good either. Dang.
On more uplifting news, looked at my suzuki and decided the front bumper looked sh*t ie quite rusty and badly battered, so i tried to get it off, the bolts were a bit stiff so out with the angle grinder and i cut them off, then off came. I went back to try and put the sump on but gave up as it was too cramped, and thought about putting it on jack stands. But i remembered the vitara wheels. So i lifted it up:

the tilt is because there was a flat at the back, ive also put the bigger wheels on the back but the phone battery died.

thats at least 2 inches lift without doing anything mechanical. Looks much better now.
as for the shine of the wheels, thats achieved by this stuff:

turtle wax wet n black. ive used it on the cars wheels, and seals and it makes them look nice and new. £6 for the bottles not too bad.

my gammatronix battery indicator came today

im actually very impressed with the build quality of this thing.

its not your average small type LED tho. 10mm LED in a 14mm bezel ...

i incorreclty recieved a bag of 20 10mm led holders instead of the 5mm ones which im still waiting on.
Give me time ill put up some pics of the jeep fully raised, ive counted theres precisley 0 leds in it, theres 1 microchip, for the digital clock and im considering taking the doorcards off and replacing them with plywood to save wheight, but plywhood wheighs more. A 406 seat will hopefully fit i want one of them.

i have been told its raised enough any more and i definitley will tip it driving the way i normally drive this thing.

he likes sleeping in the jeep, for the past 4 months its been a sort of dog bed for him, twill be a bit of a shock once it gets going again. Unfortunatley this also means that the drivers seat of the jeep smells absolutley terrible.

tyres all filled up with 32psi:

on the short run towed behind a forklift, all is still free, and the ride is still the same as before ie terrible but thats normal.
then the exhaust went on, the 1.3 manifold was in good condition the 1.6 was badly cracked so the whole 1.3 exhaust system is used on the 1.6 engine:

as for the radiator, the 1.6 one didnt fit, so the 1.3 one was the one to use, but it wasnt even from the 1.3 it was from a 1.0 so the bracket was a bit small

theres nothing beats a build it youself part. I love the way i can fix stuff on this jeep with odd ends of wood.

No swaps, ive had this dog for 8 years, a dog is a mans best friend and old bob is no different. As for well bred, theres a bit of collie, and a bit of greyhound in there, so its very well bred.

He has a bit of greyhound in him the vet said thats what give him the pointy face, but is quite quick, i was doing 30mph in the field and he was still beside the jeep. Also there isnt the bad temper of a greyhound (yours may be good, but i hear they can have a temper, do they?) never has bit anyone, just nipped me once as a pup when he accidentally got my hand holding a tennis ball.

No mate Greyhounds dont have a temper
if they did they wouidnt be racing ,

you Get the odd one thatl have a look at another dog and the odd bit of grumpyness from them but nowt id consider as aggressive,

the only agression you will see from a Gru is when it goes into chase mode,
if it catches some thing itl shake it & tear it to peices but thats instinct theyre born to chase,

as of pets there the most placid dog in Existence a baby couid walk one on a lead they dont pull they stay with you at your side at your pace ,

when there not hungry there lazy
