im back and this time its a d9 lol

Post by jamjar1383 »

hi guys
some of you may remember me from a while ago when i was on here, at that time i had a d8 hdi 110 but due to my insurence company being twats i had to sell it for somthing cheaper to insure and so began my nightmare.
i was forced to buy a citroen xsara mk2 (by the wife) and when i managed to kill that one she made me buy another xsara only a mk1 this time, that served me well in the year i had it but signs were it was starting to fall to bits so i told her im buying another 406!
so after many weeks of serching i found this one, went to look at it and bought it he same day

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Could be very expensive if the ABS pump has gone.

the 406 is a bit rough round the edges, but is proving to be unbelievably reliable... makes a nice change

I was hoping to do it up a little when I first got it, but I like it the way it is now - lots of character

just for the look im not gonna go mad and drop it on its ass, just enough for the wheels to fill the arches a bit better.

thing is pug and citroen always set the ride hight to high, for example have you seen the c4 by loeb now thats got about 2 inch's of space in the arches around the tyre and 17 inch wheels it just makes the wheels look to small.
