How do you get rcas behind the headunit?

How do you get rcas behind the headunit?

i cant see how to get the side of the trim off on the console to run cables to the back of the headunuit.

What side of trim are you referring to, is this the bit at your feet where the air comes out? in which case this guide of how to take the centre console is the awnser:

hope this helps, but what does rcas mean?

yh cheers thats the bit i ment, but cant see how you get under the carpet from the boot once you take the console off? rcas are the phono leads that go from amp to headunit.

ah right, is this for the amp in the boot?, jbl one?
not too sure how to get it under the carpet, i tried to run a power cable from front to back and the carpets very tight, so i ran the cable along the left hand side of the car on that black trim where the doors is, its well covered there ie safe from being crushed by feet, and you can always access it easier than if its under carpet, the trim isnt hard to take off.

na is for a new amp, ive done the passanger side fine for the power cables, i just need to know how/where to run the rcas to back of headunit

Put it in round the back of the dash, then under the footwell, and up the side of the car, into the boot. By round the back of the dash i mean get the wire down the hole for the radio, and try and get it out at where the dash meets the carpet from there you should be able to get it into the footwells. You may need to take that side panel off as shown in that gide.

im having trouble with the trim on drivers side tho, once ive got that off il be ok

do you mean the trim piece on the centre console, theres wee screws, they need to be out, its in there well so give the piece of trim a good pull

no i mean the trim on the side in front of the speakers in door, i didnt see any screws on the bit on centre console
