do you need an iso adadpter for aftermarket headunit?
on a 97 sri, or do the standard connectors plug straight into new headnut?

just need to swap the constant feed and the ignition feed round on the power iso connector, if one comes with the new hu then just gerry rig it so that you can swap back to the original hu if you ever sell the thing.

if your new HU came with an iso plug with flying leads then you can use that wired back to the original plug or just cut the two wires and swap em over then reconnect with either a soldered joint and insulation tape or some butt connectors or maybe even a screwed connection block if you will still have space at the back of the hu with such a thing.
its only two wires that need swapping over, its not like having to rewire the whole car

A pair of terminal blocks isnt too messy, wait till you get the new hu and then youll have a better idea what to do
