406 hdi cd changer (no power )

ive got no power to my cd changer it wont eject etc ,
any ideas what to look for?

if it has a fuse ? maybe check that ///

theres no fuse on the changer ican see
unless its inside it icarnt see anysighn of a fuse :arrowu:

ive stripped the cd changer and the Dont have a fuse :supafrisk:
and ifound out why it wont power up its had water ingress so possibly theres been a leaky boot seal and its killed it :(

anyone know where ican get a replacement from ?

check your rear lights, usually its them that let water in and cause problems , my car was getting damp inside and bad condensation on my audio setup, turned out it was the lights leaking,

1 tube of silicone sorted mine 8)

yip i had water getting out, i took it all out, and took it to pieces and dried it all with a hairdryer, i also fixed the shock absorbers of the changer one fell out, and thats why it skipped over bumps, put it all back in and the problems dissappared, all because of the leaky light.
