Having decided to keep my trusty old 406 exec. I need to replace a frustrating Dension FM link. I have decided to replace the head unit with a old one I have lying around. Since I have the JBL amp and sat nav, I am aware that I need to feed the line outs from the head unit to the Peugeot connector. Does a suitable adapter exist, if not can someone help with the wiring of the Peugeot connectors so I can make up a custom lead.
Cheers

Re: Headunit Change
The JBL setup has a different OEM head unit which outputs line level down the speaker wires.
You need to either:
1. make a connector with 4 channels of line-level attenuators
2. use an OEM head from a car with the JBL system
3. get a 3rd party head unit which can be setup to drop its speaker levels very very low.

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: Headunit Change
You can get 4 wire - RCA converters to convert non RCA headunits to having those outputs. I'm thinking one of these in reverse (assuming your headunit has RCA outs) should work, but I can't confirm tas never had to do this myself.
