swapping 90-110 stuff hdi
So I have a 90 HP Bosch ran system on the pug just now but have just picked up a 110 HP xsara through my work , torsion bar is knackered and needs a few other bits and bobs so rather than fix it I'm hoping to make mine into a 110 ! Swap over all the essentials but my question is does anyone know if this ecu will plug straight into the existing 90 HP loom in the pug ?

Re: swapping 90-110 stuff hdi
Hi mate, there are lots of differences between a 90 and a 110.
ECU - a 110 ecu controls turbo, 90 has a manual turbo.
Flywheel - 110 has a DMF
Intercooler
Probably more I missed.
Not really an ECU straight swap but maybe an engine swap?

Just get the intercooler and pipework off a 110
Fit that and then have it re-mapped..
The ECU in the x-sara won't match up.
You will get close too 110 with the 90 running on 110 intercooler and map
Or perhaps slightly more.. iirc.

Thought as much , might just take it anyway and strip the engine out it for spares , it's a good lump and wouldn't hurt having spare injectors etc kicking about but can't really see me having to do a full engine swap on an hdi
