Scraping / Grinding noise on newish brakes
I fitted brand new discs and pads alround and have noticed that on some rare occasions that if i brake hard at a low speed ie 5-10 mph there is a grinding noise i checked the brakes and cannot see any issues though yesterday i got a warning on the car saying ABS fault and the abs and handbrake lights came on anyway stopped car put hand brake on and it dissappeared after that anyone got any ideas.

Possibly one of the pads sticking in the caliper, when I replaced my rears the new pads had "horns" on the sides that fouled the caliper; I filed these down and had no problems since.
