how does the head unit in the d9 exec run the amp? is it through speaker inputs or does the head unit have pre outs?, only i have some nice 6x9"s which will fit but quite fancied running a small amp on them in my d8, didn't really want to change the standard pug head unit as it has the multi player and stalk controls

If you've got the JBL amplified setup, the head unit outputs line level and you don't want to replace any of the speakers without replacing all 8... otherwise knock yourself out
