This morning my '6's starter motor is confirmed dead, but then the technician offered me to rebuild it. for a cheaper fee ... i cannot say no. so they rebuild it again with some soldering and new switch, coils and new wires it went back alive again. it works like a charm ....
altough, i'm still unconvinced that this will last long.
the question is; is it possible to 'replace' the starter motor with other brand? i believe peugeot used VALEO for their starter motors.
