Stalk Adaptors...

Post by Louise »

I'm planning on changing the head unit of my '98 D8 LXS... but I'd like to be able to use the remote stalk if possible... I have a JVC MP3 player... Is it possible to get an adaptor to make it work on this unit, or will I need to buy another head unit????

Please help, I'm fed up of not having my cd's in the car!!!

You need 2 adaptor leads from Autoleads. One for the 406 stalk which plugs into another for a JVC head.
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Hi

Did you get the adapter to work ?
I have just installed a JVC KD AVX2 and the adapter i fitted does not seem to work.I have read that you need to let them be found by the head unit but i am unsure whether this is true or not.Any feedback appreciated.
