Leaky power steering HP pipe/fitting

Post by 8Jb9 »

I have a slow leak which is causing my HP pipe to be wet. The leak is in the fitting between the brass pipe and the rubber hose. The replacement part is pretty pricey, at more than €200.

Any of you tried to seal such a leak, or have any suggestions on how to fix the existing part?

Take the pipe off and take it to a hydraulic repair shop, or buy a second hand one.
