Evening all, I've just inherited a 2002 406 GLX HDi 90 from my dad (he had too many cars...). It has all the extras bar the sat nav and I love it :)
It's the most comfy car I've had since my Citroen days. Thing is, it was painfully slow, struggling to get to 90mph. My dad said thats just how it is so I lived with that for a week or so.
The next week whilst checking the fluids, I noticed the throttle cable was verrry loose so I pulled the cable back a bit and refitted the locking clip. The car was transformed!!
It was never going to be stupid fast being a 90bhp but now it's at least respectable.
Anywhoo, that's me, hi.
PS I'll need to do the front brakes soon, any tips for cheap good quality parts?
