whats the max drop with standard shocks

hi everyone, ok straight to the point, im gonna lower my hdi saloon 60mm front and 50mm rear, does anyone know if that drop will be ok with leaving standard shocks if not whats the max possible drop with standard shockers, regards, raf

I'm under the impression it's 40mm max, but others can correct me

ye i think thats correct. 40mm max on standard shocks.

Out of interest does anyone know where can get modified shocks for a 406? :cheesy:

I just dropped mine coil overs on front with a 40mm drop and meant to be 40 drop on rear but I think it's more like 60 and it don't take much to bottom the shock I'll try upload pics tommrow but if u do find some decent shocks let me no

Things to do finish off fitting leather door cards,coil overs,window tint, fit wolfrace wheels with 20 mm spacers 225.45.17 and the list will continue

iwouid have alook for Bilsteins, found one site here, http://www.europerformancedirect.co.uk/ ... peugeot406

60 odd quid each, ithink every other Make is Megga bucks, :(

The cheapest alternatives is, KYB shockers, ive put a pair on the front of the lag, there much stiffer than the standards what where on , they where cheapish,
ithink theres plenty of them on Ebay for the 406s,
