plenty of glass wool and a sheet of plywood held in with pink grip and screws would never come apart. As for the switches they all came from my grandparents house about 5 years ago when it was getting rewired, i took all the wiring, and switches plugs etc and used them in the shed. Well just enough for a shed of this size. Light switch was already wrote on there, i think it was used in the hotpress, because there was another few switches that did other stuff.
But i looked at the general condition of the shed, and came to the conclusion its knackered, theres a leak on every corner, all the wood on the outside is rotten, the roof is the only good bit since it is new. But me and my da come to the conclusion just to replace it, so i stripped it all out today, and now im looking for a new shed. Something a bit bigger, with good wood, and 2 doors. So a trip to B&Q is in order.
heres how bad the damp is:

leaking round the electrics isnt good either:

but then its a building it needs rates paid for it, and planning permission etc. A wooden shed can just be plonked down into place, and moved if necessary.

dont know how it works over in eire mate
but over here no planning permision is needed to build an out building shed or workshop thats what they told me anyway,
ithink if it takes light or causes obstruction to ajoining propertys they can complain,

ive got brick sheds all over the place never had a complaint yet,

as for rates ithink that wouidnt be valid unless it was a building used for buisness or a dwelling,

enquire @ your local council and ask if your alowed to build a breeze block shed on your own land quote "None dwelling to them,
