So I'm looking for one.. to setup time and date
I'm in Manchester.. if anybody got one for spare for a few quid, I'll be more than happy to pick up from around north west.
There is one overpriced on ebay for £30, but I'm not paying that just to setup time in the car
Still don't understand how could somebody design something so stupid that would require a remote just to setup time.
Or if there is any other way how to bypass this.. or some other remotes that work, I'm all listening...
So I managed to get one with the new 406 I bough.. but then somebody smashed my windows in Manchester city centre.. and they pinched it
So yea, still need one heh.. send you both PM if you still have them available.
I have one in my glovebox for my SatNav* but seeing as the screen is almost completely illegible then I may as well pass on the remote to someone that can use it.
I'll just replace my screen with a Type instead of I can be bothered.
If the other guys don't send you a reply then I'll ping mine off to you.
I had no idea it would be worth smashing a window for.....

They did not smash the window for the remote.. they just took whatever was inside.. the remote and security bolt for wheels were pretty much the only things in there that I miss :/
I better not keep the remote in the car next time.. or at least hide it somewhere in the boot or something heh
Sorry to hear that they smashed the window and took the remote and the security bolt as well. When I had my 406, kept the security bolt in the boot but the remote was in the glovebox. Was lucky not to have someone steal anything from mine. I have replied to your message. Will confirm later today or tomorrow about the remote if it still in my car parts box.

Sorry to interrupt a thread, but I had no idea that people still had these remotes in draws any longer, I am yet another owner with this problem so if anyone has a remote for the D9 Type C sat nav MFD, please get in touch I would love to be able to set the time and date in the car
Any clues as to how to get round the issue without a electronics degree would be appreciated as well
Thank you for the swift reply, I have tried to PM you but I am not convinced that the message has been sent, if you do not receive it would you be kind enough to PM me and I will hopefully be able to reply
