The only comment I can make is to check that you are installing Peugeot Planet 2000, not Diagbox - although I believe some versions don't give you the option, and that you are not online at all when installing it too....
I have to say it took me a few goes but I got there in the end, albeit many moons ago.

Re: Re-Programme Key with PP2000
I was using Diagbox, but I have since sourced a copy of PP2000 as a standalone program (comes with Lexia for the Citroens too, if needed).
I hate giving in so I've decided to hold onto the reader for a bit while I try to figure it out. I've got to the stage now where it is installed and updated (no internet present at all throughout the whole installation), but I cannot activate it. There's no button to activate as the guides show there should be, only a single button to check for updates (which I know it would attempt, then tell me it cannot perform as the software isn't activated). However, as I've disconnected from the internet it keeps telling me the internet connection can't be made and then closes the window.
This is the closest I've been so far. If I can figure out how to go straight to activation, I can bypass the attempt to connect to the internet. I'll keep trying I'm sure I'll figure it out.

There's usually a keygen utility of some kind that gets you the code that a genuine system would get from the PSA server.
Try reading through any readme or similar files that came along with it

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: Re-Programme Key with PP2000
When I bought my cable, the PP2000 they supplied with it did not work.
Spent entire day messing with it to install/activate it etc... no luck, it would just not work.
In the end I had to search for the crack for it on the internet... After some time I found what I was looking for and once cracked, it worked perfectly... so the whole issue just been that they send me a software without a crack.

Thanks for that info. In the end I decided to keep it and carry on trying (they gave me a small refund when I explained that the software does not work. I'll try and find my own version of PP2000 which is cracked. I'm sure I'll be needing the software in the future if I'm to keep the old girl going -- got a looong drive to deepest Cornwall from Derbyshire this summer.
I have since discovered that the after-market spare key I have does not come with the transponder (looks like it was not carried over from the old key fob), so it won't start the car and I will have to carry on using the spare key for that. At least hopefully it'll activate the door locks.

Re: Re-Programme Key with PP2000
Just thought I'd close this one off. I was never able to get into PP2000. One day I will restart fresh with it as I'd love to know what codes are on the ECU (speedo has started dropping to zero temporarily when driving...)
However, the car now locks. I braved it and locked the car from inside and to my surprise the car stayed locked -- previously locking from the un-jammed passenger door lock would result in the car locking but then unlocking. Now when I lock it from that door externally, it stays locked! So I now have a lockable car!
Gave more courage to keep her longer and finally get the timing belt done (current one has done 50k)
