How to replace air filter

Hello
Just got a used 406 from my grandpa with a terrible fuel consumption. I'm trying everything to better it and I've now gotten to the engine's air filter which i suspect is very dirty (like anywhere else on the car)
Where is it and how do i replace it? Would love pictures, a video or something else...

Have a look at this video, changing the air filter is exactly the same although the car in the video is a diesel.
