As some of you know, we just had the BSI unit replaced on SWMBO's 206. This is the first bit of work the car has needed, therefore the first time the battery has been disconnected. Problem was I didn't have the code for the radio, and when I went to pick the car up from my local main stealer (Griffin Mill, Pontypridd), they wanted to charge an extra £25 to obtain the code on top of the £375 they charged us for the BSI

I always felt that Griffin Mill kinda look down their noses at us a bit because we bought the car at a car supermarket rather than a Peugeot dealer, hey it was £1500 less than they were asking!!! I guess they're too thick to make the connection between that car and the UK supplied £22.5K (when it was new) 406 that I drive, even though they're under the same name and address.....

I tried the car supermarket where we bought the car, but they didn't have the code, then I remembered seeing a dealer stamp in the service book. Noel Deasy cars in Cork, these were the guys who originally supplied the then unregistered car to the car supermarket. So I gave them a ring, and the extremely helpful man took my VIN number and gave me the radio code straight back. He also said if we ever have any more trouble with the car he's got the key numbers etc, excellent!!!

So top marks for Noel Deasy Cars in Cork, Ireland. A very nice Peugeot main dealer
