stitched up by the GAP insurance

Post by trem1 »

well it looks like i'm not getting paid cash by the GAP insurance apparently the policy i had/have is for vehicle replacement so i have to go back to where i bought my 406 from, which is a peugeot main stealer, and because the 406 is "no longer available" i'm gonna have to have a 407  :D dunno what i think about that :!:

can we change the site to

Pug406/407.co.uk :?: :cheesy: :cheesy:

that way i can still have some friends 8) 8) 8)

The 407 is no where near as good as the 406. Try to do a deal with the stealers to let you buy a 406.

The 407 is quite nice, but I'm not 100% about it. And I'm really not sure about the '7 coupe, looks a bit fat.

I'd hate to be in your shoes, I was dreading that my car would be written off, as I didn't want anything else...at all.....full stop.

Sorry mate, this is one only you can answer.

In your shoes with the gap insurance, I think I'd be very tempted to go for the 407. It's probably the most financially safe option too. At least get the most out of the gap insurance.

Surely you've got to increase the financed amount for a 407, there like £5k more?

they're gonna take me back to where i started with finance and because theres only £700 left on the finance it APPEARS i can have a 55 plate 2.0 hdi 136bhp for 20 pound a month more than i'm paying now

but i wait with baited breath cos i aint never been that lucky i ALWAYS lose out i NEVER gain

but we'll see :D :D

supafrisk wrote:There are still main stealers out there with 406's!!!

Surely you could have one of those? The main stealer at Watford had two samarkands on 04 plates when I last checked and there's a main stealer at Luton that had about 4, including a 136 bhp executive
but ther's none at my local stealers
so they say i can have a 407 :cheesy:

Much as I'd love you to keep with a 406, I think the safe (financially) option is a 407, got to be a similar spec to your 406 though.

Although, if my 406 coupe was written off, I'd be straight on the look out for exactly the same car!
