Easy solution to that 1 - take the bumper, remove the splitter at your leisure then resell bumper on Ebay. Even if you bin the bumper, it's half the price the splitters go for on there anyway & chances are good that you'd still get a few quid back for the bumper.

i did think of that, but i cant rock up to the yard at lunch in my shirt and tie and get the bumper off in time!

That black paint to the velour-type material looks very good! is there not a chance of it rubbing off or wearing away? I have no knowledge of this stuff. I know black rear parcel shelves get bleached by the sun so this stuff would be a good renovator.
