I was just going to bring what I would like to eat/drink for myself - and a few extras to add to the kitty.

I have access to 4 chairs ( I'll try to get the other 2 my Mother-in-Law borrowed for a few* days, about 2 years ago... ) and maybe a picnic blanket or two.

Eric, do you have enough coal for the communal BBQ..??

I should be there, my car is currently on a set of ramps, with the subframe removed, no driveshafts, battery, pipework and the engine/box supported on acro stands..... :(

Good idea on the furniture, we don't have much of that. Charcoal should be OK, but having some spare fuel wouldn't hurt.

Front tyres replaced with Avon ZV5, though I couldn't replace the TPMS valve thing on one of them so meh. Rear ones are OK for now.

Interestingly, the guy behind the counter reckoned that his computer thingamajit said that I could either have 94W or 98W ones. The sticker on the inside of the door says 98W but I know that Rich (rwb) also had 94Ws fitted by accident recently. The load difference is 80kg per tyre (670kg vs 750kg), which I don't think is that big a deal. Just don't carry anyone fat in your car :supafrisk:. Also, my car doesn't even do 168mph, so not sure why it's speed-rated at W.

Mine has got 97W on it at the moment, it should have 93W. It has a noticeable adverse effect on ride quality - I'll be making sure I get 93W on it next time!

The two fronts are down to 1.6mm in places and now one of the rears has a slow puncture, so having a full set of 4 tomorrow
The sticker says 98 so that's what I've gone with.

I've got a set of replacement TPMS valve stems but I'm not convinced about the quality of them. The existing stems and valves will be 8 years old now, and one of them is difficult to connect to the air line.

91V's (OE) going on Saturday morning.....

I don't understand the speed rating thing - a standard 2.2 HDi estate was good for 125 mph or pretty much max power revs in top, (4000 ~ 124 mph).
This implies even modified examples wouldn't go much quicker, least not with a 5-speed 'box.
So why didn't Peugeot go for H-rated / 131 mph tyres?

Today's batch of forecasts look better - not so great in the morning, but could be OK in the afternoon. (A bit like last year).

Fingers crossed.

Bugger......

I unplugged the grey connector from my comms unit at work today, in a bid to get the remote locking to work. Sadly the whole grey block came out, so I unplugged it and put the block back in, but in doing so I bent all six pins and now I am blessed with ' Immobiliser Fault ' and the car won't start

its currently locked in works car park, so I have maybe an hour tonight to try to sort it - maybe fit donor cars comms temporarily - possibly another hour on Saturday ( I am working in the morning and driving in a Carnival in the afternoon ) so I hope to be at Pugfest, maybe in a Picasso though...pffft.

I'll be there, just replaced my comms with donor cars comms - only took 25mins in the dark... :cheesy:

Car fired up no problem - all systems go, I just have to put up with dodgy auto-lights until I can sort the other comms out, stupid me.

Remote locking still not working though :(
