RAF Cosford (Wolverhampton) Sunday 27th October 2013

Post by rwb »

Mainly exploratory at this stage since we've just had a meet in the south-west -- which is a long way away!

So: if there is interest for this meet from the north or midlands then let's do this!

RAF Cosford (near Wolverhampton) (map) on Sunday 27th October.
It's £3.50 to park and entrance to the museum is free!

Aim for 10am.

Add your name to the list if you're coming!

Hey Rich, just wondering if it's worth putting this one back a bit? Dunno if I can manage another one that soon after yesterday?

Cosford? Could one of you lovely chaps please take some pictures of their Lincoln, particularly the tail turret if it's possible - that's where my dad used to sit (and freeze his chocky bar against the window).

Ah yes, all becomes clear! Unfortunately the WRU and S4C have scuppered my plans :x ! Neath game has been put back to an evening KO 'cos it's going to be on the telly, so I'm thinking of driving down there now and I unfortunately won't be able to come to the talent show either, sorry :( (could maybe nip in for a swift half on the way home from Neef?). Hence the birthday all-day drinky has been rescheduled to the following weekend (Bedwas away). On the upside, I'll be fresh as a daisy on Sunday 27th. :)

What time is kick off? the show is suppose to start at 6pm so should be over by 9... no idea what time we be leaving though or how busy it will be there's 30 of us going to support one act. :supafrisk:

This is cool we're organising a mini meet within a full size meet.. that I'd like to be going to but we're off to Tenby on half term jollies. :)

I think it's 6:30 KO, but they'll probably change it again before then....

That kinda struck a chord, my dad did a few trips as a gunner in a Lancaster, till they decided qualified engineers weren't completely expendable.
(So they sent him somewhere safe, called Burma).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
