Anyone fancy a detour for beer tokens
Dave, if I'm going direct from home, I'll pick you up. (I may be stopping the night before at my daughter's in Hemel, Mrs Doggy hasn't decided yet).

- if anyone else wants to offer, go ahead.
Thanks Eric, but think I've shot myself in the foot

Went round old yesterday to do them a 'favour'
Sand down the outside of the wooden conservatory, and repair a 'small' section of rotten wood.
Spent 4.5hrs yesterday sanding, and chopping out rotten wood. Still not finished sanding, and looks like I'm lumbered 'trying' to replace window sill as rotten as f**k
So think that's next weekend spoken for as need to source parts and fix asap before weather gets worse :(

Thought 3 hours would do the job, but don't think it's ever been sanded in the 30years they've been there and turned into a big job now.

Thanks for the offer though :)

Miss Pugs condition is terminal, I can't bring her to the meet until I get this serious leak under control.
I have the gaskets to do before the weekend and due to personal commitments I just can't spare the time to do them at all this week!
Take my name off the list please.

No problem, Dave, I know the feeling. Looks like I'm stopping at the daughter's in Herts Saturday night, in any case.

Nope, Dads away & no one is local and going past mine...

Don't worry Alex, I've got this sorted.........

There's a end of October 406oc meet upcoming. Meet me at mine, on my drive. I'll have Jasper5 doing my belts, tensioners, water pump and bottom pulley.
I'll have someone else doing the oil change and oil filter, someone else doing the rocker cover gasket and rocker cover (plastic welding needed probably), someone else doing the starter motor and you boys will try to bring this stupid effing sod of a bitch back to life........

The list of jobs is just horrendous now........

I thought the weather was unlikely to co-operate...

Still, if someone is prepared to confirm BBQ's are allowed and enough of you are interested, I'll bring it along again.

This weekend should be nice weather!

I doubt they'd let you do a BBQ though, maybe a local park or something?
