Right, so with the 90% certainty I am bringing Miss Pug to the ball - I have finally googled the Strensham services, southbound.

Am I right in thinking that's up in Worcester?
Are you departing the Motorway at Newtorn, nr Tewkesbury?
Chances are I am going to hope there is a layby on the A46 as you come off the Motorway there and wait there for you guys to show...
I know it's only 11 miles from the meet point to Pugfest but at the moment Petrol may be an issue for me

It's still very up in the air, if I can blag fuel money from somewhere (will sell body parts if I have to) I shall be at the meeting point at said services, southbound for 7:30am, if not then I shall be somewhere along the A46 by 8:30am to watch you guys come. (YUCK, that sounds terrible). I meant, arrive, watch you guys arrive. :supafrisk:

Yes, but think of the fuel you'll waste holding it at the red line ready to drop the clutch when we cruze by....

Anyways, weather forecast has been downgraded to cloudy with the risk of a rain shower and a high of 25 degrees. :(

Remember to wrap up warm.

Forecast for here is overcast, but 26 degrees. So I'll still probably burn in a couple of minutes
I keep a golf umbrella in the boot.

The services are just north of junction 8 (M50) but you have to go all the way up to junction 7 (Worcester south) to turn round. We'll be coming off at junction 9 (A46), so if you've got me on Google Latitude you'll know when we're on our way so it should be easy to meet up on the move.

Right then, I've been shopping.....

So far, I've got some Franfurters, some allegedly 'cumberland' sausages and a pack of Bratwurst. 3/4 of this lot I won't eat so anyone's welocme to tuck in or swap, whatever.
I'll pick up a dozen rolls on Saturday, again most will be spare.

I'm hoping some kind soul might do the actual cooking, cos I'm hopeless.

In other news, Mrs Doggy has announced she's off to our daughter's place near St Albans for the weekend, "since I'm abandoning her".
Only problem is, I have the honour of driving her down, stopping for a cuppa and driving back, which will eat up roughly 5 hours of the day I had set aside for:

Oil & filter
Air filter
Another droplink
Feeding / walking the doggies
Removing the dog gaurd etc, finding / fiiting the load cover.
Trying to make Nitric look like I clean it occasionally.
Then:
Charging the lappy, looking out the rest of my sorcerer's toolkit
Pre-cooling the coolbox
Finding some eating irons, plates/disposable plates etc.
Packing as much as poss Saturday night & leaving everything else handy
Oh, and feeding me now.

Perfect preparation prevents a piss-poor Pugfest :?:

You have a good one too Scotty, don't let all that new-found powah go to your head.

Good of you to arrange for all the traffic problems to be in the opposite direction from us.

Utterly selfless and in keeping with the highest traditions of 406oc.

Have a blast anyway. :supafrisk:

Ok, looks like me and the wife will be able to go on sunday, barring any more aggro.

I need a favour off one of you guys with a pp2000 setup on sunday....I bought (at huge expense) a new MFD for our 407, unfortunately, it needs to be configured via pp2000, if anyone can help i'd be very grateful.

We'll bring some non-alcoholic drinks with us if it helps.

We won't be attending the services meet up and convoy as we will be setting off later.

Hope to see you all there :D

I'll have PP with me.
Had it on a 407 HDi v6 coupe this morning: Permanent fault. Rear cylinders turbo pressure solenoid valve. Control problem or mechanical problem. I think the basic problem is putting a Ford engine in a Peugeot

That's far too organised Doggy!
I think I'm down to baking a cake and an application of my interpretation of washing to the car.

Cooking algorithm: if it's black on both sides then it'll be right. :supafrisk:
