*Wanted* 406 1.9 TD Estate
1. In the dark metallic red or the dark blue metallic tho any colour but white would be ok .
2. With air con.
3. With a tow bar if possible.
4. As close as possible to Middlesbrough (North East England).
I'm after a good reliable car I can tow my race car with I had a Xantia until it was rear ended & I was more than happy with the job it was doing but I think the 406 is a better option
Please email me at [email protected]
Thanks in advance

Keep an eye on ebay - there's usually quite a few 406s on there...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Hi mate I have a 406 HDI estate for sale, 79000miles. Its the executive spec, full leather, heated memory seats, auto mirros, auto wipe etc etc.
Dr owner for the last 5 years, I bought it in Marhc, fitted a tow bar and pulled a light caravan for 4 weeks in the summer, but ive sold the van(not our thing) and now Im looking to get shut of the Pug.Its a genuine car, with all the history you could need, couple of sammll dents in bonnet and it does ned a service? Any good to you?

You can get a 2.1 with a Bosch pump, which will run on veggie Although, you'll have more luck finding a 1.9 you want than 2.1 with a Bosch pump.

It sounds just great bar that it's a HDi so it's much more work to get it running on veggy oiliybyisyl wrote:Hi mate I have a 406 HDI estate for sale, 79000miles. Its the executive spec, full leather, heated memory seats, auto mirros, auto wipe etc etc.

That's very interesting indeed, I was told by a couple of places that they didn't do a Bosch pumped 2.1.Captain Jack wrote:You can get a 2.1 with a Bosch pump, which will run on veggie Although, you'll have more luck finding a 1.9 you want than 2.1 with a Bosch pump.
So does anyone fancy selling me theirs??
