*Wanted* 406 1.9 TD Estate

Post by BillB »

1. In the dark metallic red or the dark blue metallic tho any colour but white would be ok .

2. With air con.

3. With a tow bar if possible.

4. As close as possible to Middlesbrough (North East England).

I'm after a good reliable car I can tow my race car with I had a Xantia until it was rear ended & I was more than happy with the job it was doing but I think the 406 is a better option :)

Please email me at [email protected] :cheesy:

Thanks in advance

Keep an eye on ebay - there's usually quite a few 406s on there...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

You can get a 2.1 with a Bosch pump, which will run on veggie :) Although, you'll have more luck finding a 1.9 you want than 2.1 with a Bosch pump.

It sounds just great bar that it's a HDi so it's much more work to get it running on veggy oil :(

That's very interesting indeed, I was told by a couple of places that they didn't do a Bosch pumped 2.1.

So does anyone fancy selling me theirs??

Hm, I am sure a 2.1 also came with a Bosch pump... This site lists it, at least...
