02 406 Executive Radio WANTED!
Got myself a lovely 38k 406 2.2 HDi Executive. I need a complete JBL radio and cd changer for her as my original is dead. Got an aftermarket one fitted but a lot off interference. Anyone have what I need at a reasonable price?

Hi, not sure the JBL models came with a CD player, only a cassette version which is standard across the range.
You could fit a CD version in, but you may have issues with sound, as the CD version has a built in amp - so inan exec it means it means the music is amped twice before reaching the speakers.
You should have a 6 disc changer in the boot, which works from the standard cassette player. Try to find a later model unit, and it will be ready to set up, but you will need to have it coded to the car - someone here can do that with the right software ( PP2000 ) and once it's coded it won't need to be done again - even if it's removed and refitted.
Also, you could power a separate Mp3 player from a standard cassette/CD type - look for Connects2 or Yatour on eBay.
