NEW BATTERY FOR SALE £20 (Winchester Hants)

I have a 406 2.0 HDI 110 2004 model. The battery recently went flat and failed to respond to trickle charging. I
replaced it with a Platinum brand battery with a 2 year warranty costing £40. It did the trick and the
car started no problem. Then I decided to try my luck and take the original (Banner brand) battery back under the 4 year warranty which only
had 2 weeks left to run! Never done this sort of thing before in 50 years motoring. Goodness gracious (or words to that effect) they replaced it! So now I have a Platinum battery surplus to requirements for sale for £20 (no offers). I have the original invoice as proof of purchase (about 1 week ago).

Could be of interest to someone living in the south Hants area?

Wow! my experience is failure just after the Warranty ends

Welly you are so right mate!

The battery manufacturers obviously got their timing wrong on this occasion. Sometimes you win and
sometimes you lose and this time Lady Luck was on my side just for a change (premium bonds still aren't
paying out though)

My experience is mount Varta battery or original Peugeot battery. The latest battery lose your charge after seven years.
