Wanted - 406 HDI Estate rear hubs/bearings

As title - pretty new to 406's so not sure if there are any differences between models/age etc. Needed for a 99 - T

Can anyone help?

Oh hello, welcome to the ever growing site, im glad you found us, you will find lots of interesting things on here including how to fix fuel flap with peg springs etc! I woyld try eurocarparts or a motor factors for your parts, hope this helps.

There's two different sorts (three including non ABS) and yours is right in the middle of the two - on the reluctor ring there are 29 teeth for a D8 and 48 for a D9. Your safest bet would be to count them.

They come up fairly cheap on ebay sometimes but I've no idea if they're any good. Why do you think they need to be changed?

As Steve says, count the castlelations
I went into a factors and asked for a hub for a 99 car and got the 48tooth as mine is on crossover, but turns out I had 29tooth on my car

cheers guys, I got some from the factors today anyway. They need changing as the bearings are shot.

I better get counting then before i try to fit. Cheers

I bought a hub for my 99 car
Only the factors book went up to 98 then 99 to 04
So they sold me a latter hub
Didn't count them and then had abs issues
Finally counted them and them had to pay for the correct one to be fitted
Luckily the factors did a swap despite hub being on my car a couple of months or so

Well they have sold me a 29. I have been away from home until today so let's see how many my car has!!! Good job the track car is legal - If if get it apart to find out they have got it wrong then it can stay apart!

Cool a track 406 car, is it a salon or a estate? How fast is it?
