Secondly I want to say a big thanks to all those who have posted as since May this year the topics and threads here have been an invaluable help to me during my 406 ownership experience!
I absolutely LOVE my 406 Exec Turbo but over the last few months my love and respect for her is somewhat dwindling due to constant disagreements loosely based upon whether or not SHE wants to go out for a drive or not and my constant financial efforts to support her unbelievable mood swings can simply take no more
I have decided to let someone else decide whether or not they would like the challenge of engaging in a relationship with her after her last little tantrum where she let off so much steam that she literally blew a gasket in her head!
Any decent offer will not be refused.
Her particulars are as follows: 1997 D8 406 Exec Turbo. Tax - Dec 2007. MOT - Jun 2008. 143K miles Excellent condition inside and out (the interior is unmarked the exterior has the odd stonechip). The engine requires work to an extent I cannot afford or complete by myself, I am told that the engine is building up too much pressure 'from somewhere' causing it to overheat. The oil and water are clean and a new radiator was fitted a month ago in an attempt to rectify the problem as the old one was leaking but she still loses water through the exhaust. She will start and drive but will start to overheat in traffic queues. I have plenty of photos and will answer any questions. I may put her up on ebay after xmas if that is the best route
