Bugger, got outbid in the last few seconds :(
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Sorry lads, I won them :)

If it's means anything to you it required a fairly lengthy drive (Over the A66 in seriously thick fog, no less!)

I've now got round to fitting them, back ones went in no bother at all. I'm now stuck on the wiring on the front seats though, has it ever been done before? I've had a quick search about but can't find anything.

Anyway, that's my first post out of the way...

There are quite a few posts on this forum about wiring the leather seats in. You don't need the so-called ECU but does need modification to the switch a bit.

Thanks for the advice.

I've just been out to have a look at the seats, and I can see that it will be possible relatively easily, however....

I bought the car a couple of months ago, it worked for a a couple of days then the immobiliser developed a fault. Great, thought I, it's a diesel, quick change of the stop solenoid and i'll be laughing. I didn't have the time nor the inclination to do the job myself so I sent it to my mates garage to be done. He had the car for 5 weeks, butchered the old pump so badly I had to get another, which he sourced and ti was the wrong one. Happy days. The car did run ( but took agesss to start) however, it's now sitting there with no MOT, tax runs out in a couple of days and basically i'm sick to death of it.

I want rid.

If I didn't have my Integra in bits in the garage I may have had a bit more enthusiasm to get it sorted, but I do, so I don't.

Anyway, that's my little rant. Ebay ahoy! Which is a shame really, as it was quite a nice car before my *mate* put the wrong pump on.

I would never ever trust a "mate" to do the work on my car. If you want it done right, either do it yourself or pay someone to do it.

He is a mate, but he runs his own garage, and he's normally ok with VERY reasonable rates. Never again though, i've had my fill.
