406 coupe v6 with auto gearbox fault

Hi, I've got a 406 coupe V6 auto with a gearbox fault. The fault was intermittent but seemed to be getting worse. It could be cleared by turning the ignition off and on. Has been sitting for 6 months but everything still works.
130k,engine starts and runs smoothly,brembos are spotless,tyres have decent tread on them,bodywork isn't pristine and lacquer is peeling in a good few places. Mot until September. Full black leather,electric seats and sunroof work. Need to get rid of it but determined not to let the scrapyard have it.
No tax or Mot so would need lifted.
Was looking for 300 but open to offers.

It's a 2001 on a w plate,red
