406 V6 ML5 LSD

Hi,

I'm arranging a build of plate LSD (not ATB) to suit the ML5 gearbox.
Just wanted to check if anyone was interested.
I need to get 10 in total and have 4 probables in Australia.
They will be fabricated in the UK so shipping for most of you should be cheap.

If it would fit an ML6 too, I might be tempted.

You'll probably get more interest over on the coupe forum, V6's in any other body style are relatively scarce in the UK. (http://www.406coupeclub.org/PHPBB3/)

Hi Brett.

I know how an LSD works but I'm not sure if this plate is an easy fix? I mean my car doesn't have ESP ( I had it on my old car and thought it was a waste of time - I miss it now.. ) so unless I have a DMF or clutch issue I wouldn't consider it at the moment.

Do you have an idea or price, and maybe a 'how to' fit it..??

Hi there, I am in the process of removing my engine and box as my head gasket failed on Boxing Day, and I thought while I was swapping for my spare engine, it would be an opportunity to fit the 20mb04 I bought a couple of years ago
Did you manage to source a batch of lsd's? If so what kind and price are they ?
Otherwise I am considering welding the diff and doing some testing ....

Ah yes just found it on pug1off thanks, think I'll try welding the diff first as I don't really have £1195 spare atm haha,, Altho a paddle clutch would be nice
