D8 2.0 LX petrol estate for sale

Post by Roylewaa »

As title, 98R Estate, 2 litre petrol, 140k Mot until July 11, and taxed until the end of April 11

In pretty good cosmetic condition, theres a scratch down the passengerside (hasint gone through the laquer which I will try to remove and a slight rust bubble the size of a £2 coin on the passengerside sill, It looks like some tatey has rubbed it down, sprayed a bit primer on then left it, not a big issue to put right tbh

Good runner with no mechanical issues apart from a slightly rattley heatshield on startup

My father in law only bought it recently in a spur of the moment, he has no use for it as the silly sods got 3 cars already so its just been stood since he bought it

Usual spec for a LX, with electric sunroof, front windows and mirrors, no aircon tho :(

No history im afriad, chap he bought it off said it was recently serviced

It has 4 new tyres, a new exhaust and a new battery

Would rather it sold on here rather than the dredde ebay
£400 no offers, this is what he paid for it so just wants his money back

I swapped the wheels as it had new tyres on, if i'd had more time I would have swapped an engine mount as ive found its a top mount gone on mine, and not the lower one as previously thought, Interior wise all I swapped was the clock as mine didnt light up as the bulb housing was all smashed

It certainly was, I was pretty shocked when he rang yesterday and told me to pop over and swap anything I wanted over to mine

He was so fed up with timewasters, in the end the car was advertised locally for £300, we were still getting people looking at the car, expecting a Porsche and then offering £200

Then when a guy came out, sat in the driver seat and got oil all over it, and when he complained he didnt want it as it had a small crack in one of the headlights that was it for him

It really was a nice car, the pic of it really didnt do it justice
