Hi Everyone, very proud own of an old and slightly rough 406 here.
My current main problem is I have a trickle of oil coming out at the bottom of the vac near the lower bolt. I took it off which was easy and discovered no small o-ring, there was one round the bit that inserts into the cam. I didn't have the right o-ring, it is smaller than the ones available for bosch vacs (mine is a different brand) so I have been trying to make it work with sealant.
I'm actually surprised that it hasn't worked because I thought I had got a good fit. The inside of the vac is not machined superbly, or has been damaged as there are some scrapes to the 'insidey cylindrical bit'.
I looked at how much reconditioned vac are on ebay and they are too much! Any hints?
