Looks okay for the money, and it seems 406s are getting thin on the ground nowadays... :(

2.2hdi, Grandad Green, lowish miles, probably fap issues but nothing a bit of fettling won't solve :supafrisk:
2003 2.2hdi estate - mine
1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine
2019 Citroen C3 something - the wife's
PP2000 user, can help with faults / diagnostics in the Bournemouth area.

That shouldn't be to difficult to fix, GLX's are rare and a 2.2 Hdi even rarer. I would have had a go at that, if I needed another one.

Bejesus wasn't that MOT tester having a bad day? for goodness sake

"number plate deteriorated but not likely to be misread"

"anti roll bar corroded but not seriously weakened"

Is he having a laugh? :frown:

And the owner has been sloshing in eoloys willy-nilly because the additive tank strap broke  that's a point does the 2.2 have a pump to squirt the stuff into the tank like our DV6?

My 2.2 had a separate tank and internal pump for DPF but had it removed as pump was siezed and cant be replaced as it is sealed inside the tank. New from agent NLA... Had the dpf written out of the ecu as PP2000 was still recording faults and engine check light was on and would go into limp mode, dpf filter had already been gutted by some previous owner.

The dpf issues are easily and cheaply sorted and the mileage is reasonable. For me it's too far away, timings all wrong - we're camped near Newquay at the moment and a GLX with a dented door would be a bit of a let down after the execs.
Still like the look of a tidy 406 though.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
