Well done young man - that's a bit more 'hands-on' than we're accustomed to hearing from your good self. Respect.

Fancy doing an oil change on the camper van for me?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

How much of it do you have to dismantle to get to the sump? :supafrisk:

Congratulations on getting to the bottom of that one Welly!

Learnt now (eventually) that you can do a more thorough job yourself in a lot of cases; more so in just spending the time that a wage-earning mechanic can't commit to.

Your oil change probably wouldn't be too bad? wouldn't they recommend an extraction pump for said beastie?

Thought about making a sump nut access hole but to be fair it's a good chance to get under and look at all the Citroen leakages and assess how much longer to pretend they're not leaking....and replace the undertray in blissful disregard.

Power steering leakage - Yes
Weirdy fluid for gearbox actuator leakage - Yes
Gearbox leakage - Yes
Something making the sump gasket look wet - Yes

Why do you think French cars manage to stay rust free for so long? It's basically rustproofing.
