I've just noticed that there is a web offer on for Autoglym stuff.

I was desperate for a Stop & Tail lamp on Sunday so popped into Halfords. I walked through the fully-stocked store, found what I needed in 4 seconds, paid £3.49 for a pair of bulbs, declined the offer to have them fitted and went home to forget to fit them to the C4 until later when I didn't really have the time and it was starting to rain.

Anyhoo the place was actually empty, no customers, ok it was 2:00pm on Fathers Day but I've heard before that they really need punters in through the doors to survive. The costs of those out of town buildings they have must be very high with business rates at whatnot and considering I could have got my bulbs for maybe £1.00 posted off the interwebs you can see why retailers might struggle for everyday sales.

Hopefully things like these special offers will get people in who might then have a wander round the store and buy more stuff.
