D9 interior?

Post by Playtime_Fontayne »

If you look at the green 406 exec estate on ebay now (item no 220091249230)

It looks like the interior pic is a D9 interior when the car is a D8?

Sneaky!

Really sad I know!!

ps tried to link but it wouldn't work :? :?

Maybe it was upgraded. Car would have been only 3 years old maximum by the time the D9 came out.

That interior is not from that car. I have seen that photo before. It is a press photo from the D9 release.

Bit naughty that, no mention of it on the ad. People could assume that it's that car's interior and it's immaculate.

Smart arsed ebayer wrote:Hiya Mate. Nice looking car, just what I'm after. Just one question, the exterior is clearly that of a phase 1 406 which is correct for the age, but the interior appears to be from a phase 2 car, and these werent made until 2000? Has it had a new interior or have you used a library photo? Cheers, Dave.

This bugger needs reporting to ebay's people, unfortunetly I dont think it would get far as ebay is awash with sellers using, reusing & abusing other people's & company's images & details to enhance their page (copy/paste ad-nauseum)

dumb ebayer email wrote: Jim,
If you look at the listing my sons name "Lee" appears on the payment instructions. I make no excuses for the listing that he did on my behalf but if what you say is true, and it appears to be, I will relist it myself with genuine pictures.
My credibility means a lot to me and the thought of being classed as liar does not bear thinking about.
I will let you know the outcome.
