After spending shed loads on the car this year the engine has blown big style so it looks like I need a new car asap defo coming back to pug but not 406 looking at a 307 sw not sure thou if the are any good are they all 90bhp engines
And do they all come with second row of seats

Hi,
id avoid the 307,
its one of the worst modern cars out there, id do some research before considering buying one,

They are not all lemons, but if its cheap then its got problems....

If you find a nice FSH example, then they are quite good cars - its a pity there are more bad ones around than good ones.

As for the second row, you will have to buy some as not all SW's have them.

www.PeugeotForums.com have lots of 307 owners, and most issues that can happen have been well documented on there.

Any recommendations on what to get next
Had 2 lemons in the last 3 years (Laguna and mondeo) so just looking for stability also seen a Octavia never owned anything from the vag group

The octavia is abrilliant car,
my mate owns a fleet of them (taxi's) and some of them have gone round the clock,

I have read the reviews of them and people really rate them the one I,m looking at has 144k on

144k is nothing for an octavia,

+1 - the Octavia is a great car, but I prefer the VW Bora for price/spec/performance....

I have a 407 SW 2.0HDi Executive, it is a fantasic car. Go and test drive one and see what you think, you can also pick them up for a good price.

Octavia,s do they have dpf,s or dmf,s which is the best gearbox 5 or 6 speed

ithink the problem with Vag cars is people using the wrong oil.
it kills the turbos,

I,ve got a choice of 2 makes kia carens or a skoda Octavia laurent and klemin with 160k on the clock 110bhp

id go with the kia if its a diesel,
it shouid turn out more reliable than the skoda,

right bought a kia diesel does anybody know if the stereo plugs are the same as you would get in a european car or do you have to modify the wiring the car I have purchased doesn't come with a stereo would be looking at a double din dab radio to put in
