Forum keeps going down

Post by Sonia406 »

Anyone else find the site is painfully slow to send replies to topics and sometimes has ''down time'' and doesn't connect? Had a wee hissy fit a few moments ago.
When I had my forums and wanted to maintain them I would put them into maintenance mode so that users got a message saying the forum should be back up X Y Z time and to check back later but its' like this forum just disappears ............

Anyone have problems like this?

Well.... Yes. It keeps happening though and was down for at least 10 minutes. I speak to another member on Facebook who also reported he couldn't connect to it either.
I thought I had been banned

The site is hosted in the states, they get occasional slow running or downtime but the support team is very good.

Yeah, it's quite slow posting replies but other than that, it seems OK.

I have learned to ' Copy ' what I have just typed ( only because my typing is painfully slow ) just in case I get an error. If it doesn't go then I can simply ' Paste ' it again.. :cheesy:
