I burnt my Karcher out last year and was thinking of getting that one, then last week the wife came in with a £38 helfrauds one, it's got the lance and detergent bottle and washed the car great... Then it washed the pavement outside (2 hour non stop job)

Yesterday i cleaned my decking with it and it was stinking must have took me 4 hours on and off but it done the job no problem... I wanted karcher because i have some extras for it but for £38 i cant fault it.

I've had a Karcher 620M for 14 years  and it's still good today, use it most weeks. It was expensive at the time (about £300.00) and has a Brass Cylinder head and runs up to 130Bar.

Probably not made like that anymore though :|

The 1s karcher igot, wouid strip paint off a car, Megga powerful,
a seal went inside it and leaked but it still worked altho, ididnt like the idea of water potentialy Mixing with electric so it got flung,
the newer ones are no way as good /powerful as the older model ones,

Im not looking too much pressure just enough to blast away the mud, karcher seems to make a load of extra heads and lances for their machines.
as long as it would last a while and be reliable, my dad bought a challenge pressure washer from argos, it lasted a week.

For decent pressure the tractor Powerhose is the job, with the right lance on it can cut through wood, even take chunks out of the yard

I've just bought a Bosch Aquatak 110 plus from b&q for £119.99 seems o.k. at the moment,it's got a lance with a ball joint adjustable angle end to it which is handy for getting under the wheel arches,it says it has a metal motor which is supposed to be better than the aluminium ones but not sure about that.

I went to halfords and seen they had one of these sitting out:
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_262357

i bought it and took it home, and for the price its very dissapointing, the o ring seal on the output hose is missing so there is a lot of lost pressure and water spraying around, i have tried to use an o ring off the air rifle bottle but its not sealing 100%, and the detergent isnt coming out right.
Ill try another seal to see if it works any better but at the moment i cant recommend this pressure washer.

Heres the one i had and like i said it's done a good 6-8 hours hard work so far with ease, i got it cheaper than that but for the price i'm very pleased.... Wether it lasts as long as my old karcher though i very much doubt but it remains to be seen.

I went looking for the seal and found it at the bottom of the box broken, all the other seals i have for the air rifle are not really suitable, but i got a seal off one of them hand held hose ends, put it onto the pressure washer and used some plumbers tape on all the connections, its stopped the leak and there is a lot more pressure now, it can clean up the wooden fence a treat aswell.
Its not too bad now but i think for £120 the cheaper karcher might have been a better buy.

The halfords pressure washer still kept blowing out the High pressure seal, and the pressure coming out of the lance is useless, and it wont spray out detergent. So after ringing them up they said to bring it in and they will either exchange it for a new one or offer a refund. I think ill get the refund and then go across to lidl they are selling this:
http://www.lidl-ni.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/S ... _23077.htm

All the specs are better than the halfords one even a 3 year as opposed to 1 year guarantee, and its £20 cheaper
