I remember this car being on the forum

and seeing a picture over on the coupe club of a very similar looking car, but just looking and all images in the same post aren't showing

Wonder if the new owner made a few "subtle" changes

Is it a HDI? I would imagine it looks quite menacing with that intercooler up front

Some enterprising individual will no doubt start selling dummy ones, for HDi 90's.

People can't see the intercooler unless there is no front on the car?

In that pic, it looks like he's taking a golf club to the car?

Bit drastic to peel off the drivers door trim to beat the car with!

Hey guys, yes that was me doing a Basil Fawlty on my D9 Estate LOL

Yeah I had understeered over the rumble strips, accelerating out of one of the bends, and was gutted to find that I'd made my front 19" alloy square :(

With no spare (yes i know -), I first borrowed a rubber mallet from a friendly guy with a couple of rally cars. After some sweating i managed to get it a bit rounder but started to crack the rim before his mallet fell apart ! (sorry -)

-----Yes Omega thanks :) , I eventually found a very helpful guy in a 306 rallye (thanks Mark-) who lent me his spare to get me home...

Got the alloy welded, and threw i bit of paint on it to get me rolling in a straight line by wednesday lol :)

-----Ha Ha Thanks Plod, good old Fawlty Towers, I'm honoured that i reminded you of that hilarious episode ! :cheesy:

-----Yes ToddM it's the 2.2 Hdi, running bout 200+bhp at th mo

Great day, Friendly bunch at PSCUK :) was my 1st time at PugFest :)

-----Yes sirwiggum, I removed the bumper, fitted a Japspeed Scooby FMIC, then wrapped the bumper over, cutting away any part of the bumper that covered the FMIC, Hoses, or stopped it going back on :) ..... and yes it seems that some funny guy(or girl) has photoshopped a golf club in place of the rubber mallet i was using LOL :D

Hey Frenzy406

Isnt it unfortunate when people take pictures of awkward situations! :)

Wouldn't mind seeing pictures of the front with the scooby FMIC

Sorry about the Golf Club. We were all obsessed with Golf here for a brief while after McIlroy and Clarke.
That has all died down now after the hangovers and the poor play in the Irish Open / WGC invitiational.
